Best Possible Self
Exercise Nº3
Visualising a positive future can have a positive effect today.
How it works
This is a 20-minute writing exercise based on positive visualisation. First, take a moment to imagine your ideal life after the pandemic is over. Imagine that you can realise all of your goals, dreams and potential, and everything goes as well as it possibly can for you.

Now take 20 minutes to write freely and creatively about what this ideal life might be like.
Why it works
This positive visualisation works because it lifts mood and fosters optimism, which in turn is linked to improved emotional wellbeing.
